International Headache and Pain Symposium

The Inserm Pain Research Network is organizing its annual symposium on July 7 and 8, 2022 in Clermont-Ferrand.

This symposium will include 4 plenary lectures given by international researchers, pioneers in migraine research [Michael Moskowitz (USA), Peter Goadsby (UK), Jes Olesen (Denmark), Lars Edvinsson (Sweden)]. Their works have led to the development of new treatments, now on the market and which are already radically improving the lives of patients. They have just received the Brain Prize, the most prestigious prize in the world in the field of neuroscience.

In addition to these presentations, there will be several conferences grouped around different themes (Migraine/Trigeminal pain, Cortical and subcortical modulation of pain, Opioids, Microbiota, Peripheral and central mechanisms of pain generation, etc.). Thus 30 speakers, national and international (USA, Canada, Denmark, Sweden), all of international renown, will participate by invitation to this symposium to discuss promising topics in the fields of pain and headaches.
